I really enjoyed this place. The food is excellent — genuinely delicious Slavic cuisine, the kind I grew up with and honestly one of the few cuisines in the US that I truly enjoy eating. Everything tasted high-quality, well prepared, and thoughtfully presented. The atmosphere is another big plus. The interior is beautiful, stylish, and well designed, and the music is pleasant and unobtrusive. It genuinely feels like a high-end restaurant where you can relax and enjoy your time, without loud or overwhelming music. You can actually have a conversation and unwind. Overall, the place feels refined and comfortable, not rushed or chaotic. The only downside was the waiting time. At first, we were seated right by the door where cold air was coming in, which wasn’t very comfortable. However, the staff later moved us to a better table, and after that everything was great. Aside from that, the experience was excellent. Great food, great atmosphere, and a place I would happily come back to.

Absolutely phenomenal food. A great presentation with attentive service. Good quantity for the price. The potatoes could have had more salt but the quality of all the produce was so excellent, you really don’t miss the seasoning.

So glad we checked this cozy spot in Citrus Heights! The warm ambience complimented its accommodating staff. Compliments to the chef indeed for dishing out the perfect serving size and for varying the taste palette which catered to the picky appetite of both young and old alike! Come with lots of room to sample their curated menu perfect for a healthy and heavy brunch. Be sure to come in early too as the dine in space runs out quickly. But fret not, there’s plenty of parking spaces.

Very pretty cafe staffed by nice and friendly folks. The California Eggs Benedict is seriously the best I have ever had. Get this, you will not regret it. I plan to come by more often in the future and also try the gorgeous lattes, pelminis, and crepes.

I had breakfast and brunch here, and everything was absolutely amazing! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. It’s definitely one of the best spots to start the day I’ll be coming back for sure!

Great tasting food, with artistic presentation. service good ( but not with a smile). Outdoor seating is good but indoor needs freshening up.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Eastern European brunch— we ordered the California eggs Benedict and the cream French toast. This impressed me and my teen nephew! Nothing was too sweet or overdone… Everything was actually just perfect, just right. The presentation was flawless, and you can tell they use fresh and high quality ingredients. They make a decent cappuccino, which is hard to come by these days. The location is excellent and the decor is very calming with the live plants inside. We hope to come here again soon!

We decided to try this place for breakfast, and it was a great choice! Our food was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed our meals. Pistachio capuchino is really good! Want to come back to try different food and sweets! The atmosphere was great. Indoor and outdoor seats are available.
